Planning for Winterfest 2010 in early February is now in full swing.

Chili Feed — 5-8 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5 at the Legion. Organized by Kiwanis Club.
The 2010 Medallion Hunt will begin Saturday, Feb. 6 and continue until the medallion is found.
Wizard of Oz Interactive Movie Party — 2-5 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 at the high school theatre. April Rao is organizer. 934-1263.
North American Canned Beer Invitational — 8 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 at Patrick's.
Ambassadors Dinner Dance — 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 at Johnson Hall, Nicollet County Fairgrounds. "New York, New York" is the theme. Contact any Ambassador.
Brandon Scott Sellner performs — 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 6 at Patrick's.
Pancake Breakfast — 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7 at the Legion. Fund-raiser for All Night Graduation Party. Contact Connie Bollum. 934-3560.
Blastfest — 1 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 7 at Patrick's. Enter your best baked beans and/or deviled eggs in contest.
Open House & Quilter’s Garage Sale — 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9 at St. Peter Public Library. Contact Nancy Timm.
All City Spelling Bee — 9 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9 at Patrick's.

Chinese New Year Celebration — All day at St. Peter Food Co-op. (For AC Circuit and Winterfest). Samples, demos, historical information, and activities for kids. (Chinese New Year will actually be celebrated at the Co-op Feb. 8-22). Contact Jennifer Luhmann, 934-4880.

No Freeze Your Buns Run? How disappointing! This was a run I always looked forward to and ran it with my brother. It was alway so organized and a lot of fun - the colder, the better - makes us Minnesotans tougher!
