| Light pole/parked vehicle take a hit |

St. Peter Police investigated a one-vehicle crash which took place on Highway 169/South Minnesota at 11:46 a.m. on Monday. According to the investigating officer, a female driver who was southbound on Highway 169 hit a parked car and a light pole on the west side of the road. The woman received only minor injuries and was treated at the scene by River’s Edge Ambulance personnel. The light pole did receive considerable damage as did the back end of the parked vehicle. The driver was not cited for the incident as it was deemed an accident by police.

Sadly, witnesses reported the driver's head slumped over before the accident.
