Hwy. 169 detour delayed
The planned detour on Highway 169 (Minnesota Avenue) in Saint Peter has been delayed until Thursday, July 9, weather permitting. The highway will be closed for construction between Jefferson Avenue and Broadway Avenue.

Former resident charged in murder
An arraignment hearing for Melecio De Jesus Camacho, 29, who is charged with the rape and killing of a South Sioux City, Neb., 3-year old girl, has been postponed, according to a report in the Sioux City (Iowa) Journal.
