Free rides offered New Year's Eve
Those celebrating the arrival of the New Year within the St. Peter city limits will once again be afforded the opportunity to catch a ride, free of charge, to and from their party destination.

St. Peter baseball, softball associations set up practice range at Nicollet County Fairgrounds
An open house/fund-raiser for the new St. Peter baseball and softball practice facility will be held from 7 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31 at Johnson Hall on the Nicollet County Fairgrounds. Sandwiches and refreshments will be served. Entertainment will be provided by a disc jockey. The practice facility will be open that day and during the open house. The event is to raise funds for artificial turf.
